FP Movement: To Be Free was a mini collection I created for my digital print design course at CSU. The assignment challenged us to design a series of prints for a current brand while drawing inspiration from a culture in a way that honors it rather than appropriates it.
As shown in the deck, I researched Hinduism (Sanatana Dharma) and used those teachings as the foundation for a yoga-focused collection for FP Movement. Because yoga in America has become heavily whitewashed, my goal with this project was to highlight and show appreciation for its origins—especially within the context of contemporary apparel.
The collection features four original prints inspired by the four Purusharthas: Dharma, Kama, Artha, and Moksha. I encourage you to explore these concepts further in the slide deck below.
All prints were created using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. This project ultimately played a key role in helping me secure my Summer 2024 internship with FP Movement.
